ADOPTING PET FROM THE HEART

 To ensure the best future for our animals and make rehoming stress-free, we have a three-step adoption process.

Note:

Adoptions are limited to Japan and must be within a reasonable driving distance from Tokushima.

We are unable to facilitate international adoptions.


Adoption Process


Step 1: Questionnaire

Complete our 25-question form to help us match you with an animal suited to your lifestyle and home environment.

Online adoption application


Step 2:  Home Check

After reviewing your questionnaire, we will visit your home to assess the living environment. If a visit isn’t possible, we’ll ask for photos of your home and garden via email.

Once a match is confirmed, you’ll sign an adoption contract agreeing to our terms.

Dogs for adoption

All HEART dogs are vaccinated, tested for illnesses , neutered and micro-chipped before rehoming. 
Our adoption fee is 30,000 yen.

All HEART cats are tested for FIV/FeLV, vaccinated, neutered and micro-chipped before rehoming.
Our adoption fee is 15,000 yen
