NPO registration complete!
HEART is now registered in Tokushima prefecture as an official NPO!  New and exciting projects to come!




FOOD, PLEASE!
We now have a shortage of dog and cat food and would appreciate any donations of both dry and wet food to help us feed the 140 animals in our care.  Any brand or amount will help.  If you can donate, please e-mail us at susan@heart-tokushima.com for our mailing address.


HEART DOGS MEET AND GREET & BAZAAR

Come and join us at Dog cafe Azmil! and meet some of the wonderful dogs that are looking for homes!  Everyone is welcome (canine or human!),  so drop by and say hello, enjoy a coffee or snack and do a little shopping to help Tokushima’s animals in need!

DOG WALK and BBQ!

Strut your stuff and save lives!

In recognition of”Dobutsu Aigo” week, we will be holding a “Dog Walk” on Sunday, September 27th to honor the more than 6000 cats and dogs that lose their life at Tokushima’s Animal Control every year. Our goal is to gather 100 people in order to shed light on this issue and to teach the community how we can prevent this tragedy.  WE NEED YOUR FEET! 

We will be ending the walk with an optional BBQ party!

DATE: Sunday, September 27th, 1:00pm~
PLACE: Tokushima, exact location to be announced
COST:  2000 yen for “DOG WALK”, you will get an original “Dog Walk 2009”     t-shirt!  
           2000 yen per person for those of you who wish to attend the BBQ.


*We will be arranging pick up and drop off for those without transportation.
